Winter storm update

UPDATE (Thursday, 4:45 p.m.): City offices are tentatively set to open at 10 a.m. Friday, but that could change depending on conditions.

UPDATE (Thursday, 5:50 p.m.): Residential solid waste collection is scheduled to operate on the normal schedule on Friday, but commercial collection will be delayed until 8 a.m. The schedule could change depending on conditions.

City of College Station offices and facilities will be closed Thursday due to the winter storm. Solid Waste and recycling will be collected on the usual schedule but that could change if conditions deteriorate.

Closed facilities include the Lincoln Recreation Center, Southwood Community Center, Lick Creek Nature Center, and Meyer Senior & Community Center. Programs and events that were scheduled have been canceled, water fountains have been turned off, and restrooms have been closed throughout the parks system.

Veterans Parks & Athletic Complex will be turned off at 10 p.m. Wednesday after scheduled practices have concluded.

If you experience an electric, water, or wastewater outage, call College Station Utilities at 855-528-4CSU (4278). Please have your account number ready. Payments to the Municipal Court must be paid by the end of the next business day.
