TxDOT closes Wellborn at Holleman for 6 Weeks

The Texas Department of Transportation will close Wellborn Road at Holleman Drive for six weeks starting Sunday at 5 p.m. The intersection improvements include raising the elevation of Wellborn to the level of the railroad tracks.

Multiple detour routes will be in place, but access to nearby businesses and apartments will be allowed.

Holleman will remain closed on the east side of Wellborn until late July and on the west side until Union Pacific Railroad constructs new rail tracks and TxDOT completes pedestrian features. The overall project is expected to be finished by late September.
