The City Council of the City of College Station will hold a public hearing on the adoption of the proposed fiscal year 2022-2023 annual budget at a regular council meeting on Thursday, July 28, 2022, at 6:00 p.m., in the City Council Chambers at the City of College Station City Hall, 1101 Texas Avenue, College Station, Texas or via zoom https://zoom.us/j/96728393278 or via phone at (888) 475-4499 and Meeting ID: 967 2839 3278

Copies of the proposed budget are available for review with the City Secretary’s Office, at the Bob & Wanda Meyer Senior and Community Center, the Larry J. Ringer Library and online. The public is invited to review and make comments on the proposed budget. Comments may be presented in writing or in person at the public hearing or may be made in writing to be mailed or delivered to the City Manager, College Station City Hall, 1101 Texas Avenue, College Station, Texas, 77842, prior to the end of business on Wednesday, July 27, 2022.

THIS BUDGET WILL RAISE MORE TOTAL PROPERTY TAXES THAN LAST YEAR'S BUDGET BY $4,976,772 OR 9.11%, AND OF THAT AMOUNT, $727,133 IS TAX REVENUE TO BE RAISED FROM NEW PROPERTY ADDED TO THE TAX ROLL THIS YEAR.
