JONES BUTLER ROUNDABOUT AND EXTENSION
The city is currently designing a roundabout at the intersection of Holleman Drive South and North Dowling Road with an extension of Jones Butler Road connecting to FM 2818. The
TxDOT FM 2818 Super Street project construction currently underway is building the Jones Butler connection under FM 2818. This project consists of a five-leg multi-lane roundabout with a multi-use path along Holleman, and sidewalks and bike lanes along the Jones Butler extension. This connection will provide an additional route to ease traffic congestion at the Holleman Drive and FM 2818 intersection and the roundabout at North Dowling will provide an improved level of service for that intersection.
