City's proposed FY 24 budget to be presented at Tuesday’s special council meeting

The College Station City Council gets its first look at the city's proposed FY 24 budget and tax rate at a special meeting on Tuesday at 4 p.m. at city hall.

The meeting is streamed live on Optimum Channel 19 and at cstx.gov/cstv19. To join online, go to Microsoft Teams and enter passcode MvPmTr or call 469-480-7460 and enter conference number 952 310 468. If the call-in number isn't working, access is limited to Teams.

A series of budget workshops are July 17-19 for the council to discuss the proposal in more detail. Public hearings are scheduled on the budget on July 27 and the tax rate on Aug. 24. Adoption is tentatively scheduled for Aug. 24, with the new fiscal year beginning Oct. 1.
